Reducing the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and stabilizing the climate on Earth directly depends on the position of renewable energy sources. The International Renewable Energy Agency is addressing this issue. The organization was founded in 2009. This charitable organization is based on advocacy and technical assistance for the use of technological forms of renewable energy. Bioethics and hydropower are among such forms.
The functions of the International Renewable Energy Agency include the exchange of information on technology and development opportunities in this area, negotiations on case studies of energy security, and methods of its implementation.
IRENA’s charter was signed by representatives of 75 states in July 2010 and is headquartered in Abu Dhabi.
